Every struggling person I knew in school had a Honda. The civic I believe was most popular, then the others. I don't know why..it just seems like Honda's are unable to be beaten to crap..especially when they're old. Good luck

In my opinion, the 1968 Volkwagen Beetle. They were great on gas and kept on running in any kind of weather. The '68 because that was the first year the Beetle had a 12 volt alternator. Up through '66 they had 6 volt generators and 67 had a 12 generator. At any rate, I had one and it had over 300,000 miles on it when I laid it to rest.
