There are two possibilities of what you are referring to:

One is a (shudder) body kit to make a 67 Mustang fastback look like the Eleanor car from Gone in 60 Seconds. While using the words "Eleanor" and "Shelby" in the same sentence used to be blaspheme, apparently Ol' Shel himself has decided to jump on the bandwagon. The GT500E is a 67 Mustang which Shelby American puts together using the Eleanor body kit, and a modern updated drive train. Although they are "only" talking about 325hp for the basic car, I'm sure Shelby will have a few tricks to bring that up a bit if are willing to pony up the bucks.

The second possibility is a production car coming next year...Shelby is getting ready to work with Ford on the new Mustang to produce a new GT-500. Early press on that car said it was going to be around 500hp, and would then be the highest horsepower ever offered in a factory Mustang. I've seen a variety of designations on that car, and it could be the one you are thinking of.
