I am going to replace, either myself or my mechanic, the o2 sensors on my wife's 2001 KIA Sportage. I wanted to save some money and order the parts online, however when I pull up parts from eBay or AutoZone they only give one type (part number). I know there are 2 sensors, one before the catalytic converter and one after. I just wanted to see if anyone out there knew if these two parts are supposed to be the same thing?

I am a Product Specialist with Walker Products, a manufacturer and worldwide distributor of oxygen sensors. If they have the same part number, then they are the same part. I can confirm that the Walker sensors for this car, both part # 250-24341, are exactley the same sensor.

it might desire to be some countless issues.. Like a number of the spark plugs misfiring or the catalytic converter is going undesirable. If there is an autozone close to you they run loose diagnostics there and assist you to comprehend if that's the spark plugs. in the mean time, replace the oil and air filter out too in case you havent achieved that for a together as.. additionally, a number of them had 10 365 days 100k miles guarantee.. Is yours nevertheless lined?
